1. Agreement and Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and Thronestead. They cover your access to game clients, websites, support systems, and official communications (collectively, the "Services"). By using any part of the Services you accept these Terms and the policies linked from the Legal Hub.

2. Eligibility and Registration

You must meet the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction. Registration information must be accurate. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf where required by law.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your credentials. Keep your login details confidential, use strong authentication when available, and contact support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or account compromise.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, Thronestead grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Services for non-commercial entertainment. No ownership of software, assets, or virtual content is transferred.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not cheat, bot, exploit bugs for unfair gain, distribute malware, phish credentials, impersonate staff, manipulate rankings through collusion, or interfere with game integrity or service security. Violations may result in immediate enforcement.

6. Alliance Governance

Alliance leadership tools -- roles, treasury permissions, recruitment settings, and diplomatic controls -- must be used in good faith. Extortion, discriminatory gatekeeping, coercive removals, retaliatory sanctions, and deceptive treasury practices are prohibited and may lead to role restrictions or account penalties.

7. Virtual Content

Virtual items, currencies, boosts, and progression artifacts are licensed digital entitlements with no real-world cash value unless local law requires otherwise. Thronestead may adjust costs, rewards, timers, and rates to maintain long-term economy health and competitive balance.

8. Billing and Refunds

Purchases are processed by listed payment providers. Final prices may include taxes, regional fees, and currency conversion. Refund eligibility follows local law and processor policy. Fraud, chargeback abuse, or payment manipulation may lead to purchase restrictions.

9. User Content License

You keep the rights to lawful content you create, but you grant Thronestead a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, transmit, adapt, and distribute that content for operating and improving the Services, including safety review and moderation.

10. Intellectual Property

All game systems, text, code, graphics, music, interfaces, trademarks, and lore belong to Thronestead or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Unauthorized copying, resale, scraping, commercial derivative use, or removal of proprietary notices is prohibited.

11. Moderation

Thronestead may investigate reports, remove content, roll back abuse-derived gains, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access based on severity and risk. Emergency actions may occur without advance notice when needed to protect the platform, its users, or legal compliance.

12. Service Availability

The Services evolve continuously. Thronestead may patch systems, migrate infrastructure, deprecate features, or change UI flows. Planned and emergency maintenance may interrupt availability. Uninterrupted operation and universal device compatibility are not guaranteed.

13. Beta Features

Some features ship as alpha, beta, or preview and may be incomplete, unstable, or removed without notice. Progression tied to experimental features may be reset or modified during development.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thronestead and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, data loss, business interruption, or loss of virtual items.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thronestead and its personnel from claims, liabilities, and costs arising from your misuse of the Services, breach of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.

17. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the law indicated in your account legal notice. Where enforceable, disputes are resolved by individual binding arbitration. Class, consolidated, and representative claims are waived to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. Thronestead may suspend or terminate access for policy violations, fraud risk, legal obligations, security concerns, or sustained inactivity. Sections on billing, intellectual property, liability, and disputes survive termination.

19. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated for legal, operational, or product reasons. Material changes are announced in-product, on the website, or by account notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

21. Export Controls

You may not access the Services where prohibited by export controls, sanctions, or local law. You confirm that you are not on a denied-party list and are not accessing from a restricted jurisdiction.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the referenced policies constitute the entire agreement for your use of the Services.

23. Account Deletion and Data Handling

When you request account deletion, access is disabled and the deletion process begins. Some records may be retained in restricted archives where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Regional Addenda

Where local consumer protection law requires different cancellation rights, disclosure timing, or dispute channels, those mandatory local provisions apply to the minimum extent required by law.
